eHiking Guide to Canadian Rockies with both Tablet and Mobile versions

Tony Daffern, author of Popular Day Hikes in the Canadian Rockies, has addressed the problem of taking a readable eHiking guide with you on the trail by creating both tablet and mobile versions of his guidebook. Renamed Best Hikes in the Canadian Rockies, hikers can now have a tablet (or computer) version to browse through at home and a mobile version for their smartphone to refer to when hiking.
Both the tablet and mobile versions are bookmarked and hyperlinked for ease of use. The mobile version has been re-formatted to improve legibility. While it contains all the trail descriptions and maps, it only has 77 of the Tablet version’s 240 colour photos.
Hikers who buy the tablet version get the mobile version for free. Before buying, hikers can download sample pages from the mobile version to test that bookmarking and hyperlinking work on their device. If someone has a copy of Popular Day Hikes in the Canadian Rockies, the printed version of the guide, they can buy just the mobile eBook version to put on their smartphone.
Best Hikes in the Canadian Rockies offers a selection of the best day hikes from Banff to Jasper including stunning hikes around Lake Louise and Yoho National Park, the mecca of Canadian Rockies hiking. Each hike is accompanied by colour photographs and usable maps.
Gillean & Tony Daffern are authors of numerous guide books for hiking in Kananaskis and throughout the Canadian Rockies.
